here are car shows, and there are bike shows. And then there is Steelfest. For the
uninitiated, Steelfest is to rat rod and bike shows what bacon is to breakfast. It has
become a staple of the Rat Rod Magazine Tour for the last 5 years and for good
Treason. Those lucky enough to gain entrance get to display their vehicle in one of
the coolest venues we’ve ever seen – Shapiro Metal Supply in St. Louis, Missouri. Owner
Sam Shapiro not only opens up his business for rat rodders and bikers to park their
badass vehicles in and around his industrial complex, but he also provides food, drink,
and rock ‘n’ roll to all in attendance. To top it all off, he also manages to raise
boatloads of money for our country’s veterans. Everybody wins.
