                                                                                                                                      Back in 2011 when the fi  rst Tour Rat was built and
                                                                             Part of the 30-day $3000 Build-Off
                                                                           in 2014, Rooster’s “Rat Buster” emanated
                                                                                                                                      unveiled, there was still a lingering misperception
                                                                         one thing: FUN. Rooster’s an entertaining guy
                                                                                                                                     that rat rods weren’t drivable. The idea of building a
                                                                           to begin with, but this car was center stage
                                                                                                                                    fl  agship magazine vehicle each year started as a way
                                                                         for all sorts of antics throughout the competition        the living hell out of them – multiple tours, many events

                 Aside from his Build-Off participation, Rooster is
                 known for his showmanship. He loves to participate
                 in the free-style burnout contests along with those
                 crazy Cajuns, and his builds really do embody the
                 blue-collar rat rod spirit. He builds 'em as cheap as
                 possible, then rips the hell out of them wherever he
                 can - putting on a show wherever he goes. Budget-
                 built and driven into the ground, Rooster style!
