his year’s Atomic Blast at the
Gulfport drag way in Mississippi,
was a show that all of our southern
Trat rod family was waiting for. it
was cancelled from its original March
date due to inclement weather. When
people found out about the cancellation,
social media was inundated with
posts from rat rod owners and people
planning on attending the event that
were upset about the cancelation.
When the GulfPort drag way officials
and Jimbo Perkins (who came up with
the idea for Atomic Blast) learned of
Where there’s smoke, there’s fire
– right? people’s disappointment, they happily
rescheduled to a new date in April.
