‘Monstrous’ Inspira tion
Like most guys in the mid 2000’s, Jim considered
Jesse James’ Monster Garage required viewing. Yeah,
it was campy and sometimes downright silly, but the
builds were cool, and as it turns out, inspirational. Jim
watched Episode 16 of Season 3 in which Jesse and
a bunch of old East Coast hot rodders turned a stock
‘29 Ford Tudor into the New York City Hot Rod. If
you Google it, you’ll see it’s your prototypical rat rod.
It was then he decided to begin collecting the parts
needed to build his own ‘29 Ford. Jim just happened
to go slightly off-script with his version, though.
