Page 13 - Issue 36
P. 13
The frame is stock ’31 Chevy and has not
been boxed as of yet – that’s the next project.
An S-10 rear puts down the power in the rear on
stock leaf springs while a mid-‘50’s Chevy truck
straight axle with a 4-inch drop keeps things
pointed forward. Disc brakes all around keep
things in check when it’s time to slow down.
But oh, that body… so clean and so virgin that
it still has the original rosewood frames top and
bottom. There is zero chop, zero channel, and
zero ‘Z’ anywhere. And it still has the button-
down cloth top which is easily removed to let the
sun and wind wreak havoc with your ‘do.
They used to say, ‘Bo knows.’ But when it
comes to cars, it’s more like, ‘Joe knows’… or is it
‘Joes know’…? Hmmm…
