The main point of this car is that anything he main point of this car is that anything he main point of this car is that anything

can be a hotrod. This happens to be a VW,
but could have been a Toyota, Datsun,
or any other car for that matter. Once
you’ve cut behind the front doors and cab
corners added and the windshield is cut
in half, and stood upright and a fi rewall
fabbed in, you’ve got a roadster. With old
bodies becoming rarer by the year, this
an important thought to keep in mind if
you’re in the low budget mindset. If you’ve
missed any of the Rat Rod Magazine
coverage of the VW, it starts at issue #26
and can be purchased through the RRM
website. A special thanks to our model:
Kandace Springs, recording artist for
blue note /capital records. Also to Robb
Blair, Photographer and assistant Ethan
Ring. Photo Editing by Russ Harrington.
Use of 63 VW by James Dubois and
1923 T Bucket by Joe Speno. We are
excited about our next project, a 1953
Willy’s Jeep Overland. We will start our
introduction in the following issue of
Rat Rod Magazine.
