hat do we need before we are ready to get started on
a build? Getting to the point of an ‘almost build’ can
take the novice builder a lifetime. Even the professional

Wcan take a while depending on the goal for the project.
Some of us need to scour online marketplaces and swap meets
for years before feeling confi dent enough to dive into a build. A
project with hard to fi nd body parts will drive you nuts if much

of it needs repair. Yet, others might dive into a project with
nothing more than a bare truck cab or a pair of front fenders and
a dream. Some get started with even less: a rusted half-frame
drug from the landfi ll.
