He had an initial vision for the car. He knew he needed to have the intake
above the roofl ine and the rear tires at the roofl ine. Well…he got the intake
where he wanted it, but try as he might, he just couldn’t get the body low
enough to come even with the huge 37-inch tires. In the end, it doesn’t matter,
because it still looks pretty wicked.
Now it just needed a name. He came up with ‘The Felon’. Not that he’s
ever been to prison or even jail (attention prospective employers!), but he just
thought it would be a cool theme to use on a rat rod. Matt added jail cell-
type bars over the rear and back windows and added some handcuffs to the
interior. In addition, the suicide shifter outside the driver’s door is festooned
with a gnarly set of brass knuckles.
