Katie Daryl: ack in 2011 when rat rod magazine was smack-dab in the

middle of its first year on the national newsstand, i ran across

a cute, spunky, energetic tv host on what was then hdnet, a

cable network owned by rockstar entrepreneur mark cuban.

out to her for an interview.

Well, the interview turned into a feature and
the feature turned into a cover shoot with famed
dodgey Pete’s ’37 dodge rat and the whole
thing became this epic project. it was late in the
publishing cycle and we already had a cover
selected for the issue, but decided to work katie
onto a second cover and release both of them.
katie’s cover sold out in a matter of days (and is
very hard if not impossible to find today) making it
