It’s no secret that we love military tributes here at Rat Rod. From
several members of our staff being veterans themselves, to pretty much all of
us having family who has served or is serving in the military, to our “Mags For
Troops” magazine program – there’s a deep-rooted respect here for all those who
serve, past, present, and future. We’ve said it many times… nothing political here;
just respect, honor, and gratitude.
While we don’t feature a lot of “theme” builds, the military segment is almost in
a class of its own - especially since many of these rat rods themselves started off
as operational military vehicles. That history along with the overall aesthetic make
this an extremely enjoyable sub-category that we are excited to delve into.
As with all our “Best Of” lists, this is entirely subjective.
