When a build starts by trading a
rifl e for a body, you know it’s going
to have a story – this 30 Model A is
no exception. This is a very straight-
forward blue collar build that fully
embodies the rat rod spirit – with
a military-themed kick. Both the
car itself and the feature are full of
military details and plenty
of rusty awesomeness. It’s always fun
to dig back into these earlier issues and revisit
some amazing rat rods… Craig’s cover car is one
that reminds us why we do what we do.

opens with the line: “A tribute to Ed
Roth, War Heroes, and Everything

deep, meaningful touches – Grandpas
Purple Heart displayed front and
and moving.
