then the rat rodders had their turn to win some hand-built awards. They
were made by Bart Brumfi eld, Tommy Landry, Tommy Theriot and Monty
Taylor with a special touch given to them by Ben Chauvin of Hydroblade
from Lafayette, Louisiana. The rodders’ then drove their banged-up rides
back to their trailers to change blown tires and repair any damage that
was done for the next event. No, the fun wasn’t over yet. The Cajun bands
“Tet Dur” and “Jus Cuz” tuned up their instruments and played into the
