C3-ton behemoth in Arkansas and hauled it all the way
back to Kingwood, Texas. It started out life as a grain truck, but
now it looks like Frankenstein’s pickup.
During the fi rst iteration of its newfound life as a rat rod, a
Cummins 6BT provided the scoot. But the clatter and howl of
that oil burner proved too much for those riding above it
in the cab so it had to go. In its place went the king of
the LS family, at least size-wise. 8.1 liters (or 496
