Greetings, SCCTM Family!
Welcome to Greenville, SC, for our 49th SCCTM Annual Conference! We are excited to continue to offer new and
exciting changes to our conference this year, along with the professional learning opportunities that we have
prepared for you. We invite you to join us on a journey as we are “Making Math Matter” and creating opportunities
where students thrive mathematically and understand that “It’s A Way of Life with Infinite Possibilities!” During our
dynamic sessions, workshops, keynote speakers, and exhibitors, we invite you to be present in the moment and build
your network that offers ideas, resources, tools, and materials to use with your students and share with colleagues,
math educators, and leaders throughout the state!

We are thoroughly excited about our 2025 keynote speakers. The biographies of each keynote speaker can be
found on our website at scctm.org and in the conference program book. In addition, we are thrilled to present
Eddie B Comedy as an option for your Thursday night entertainment. Registration is available on the SCCTM
website for this special event.
Thursday, 8:30 – 9:50 AM, Conference Hall: Graham Fletcher, Math Specialist and Author of Building Fact Fluency
by Zaner-Bloser, and a national educational consultant focused on math progressions and problem-based lessons,
presenting throughout North America and beyond.
Friday, 2:10 - 3:30 PM, Ballroom ABC: Dr. David Costello, Elementary Principal in Prince Edward Island, Canada,
CEO/Owner of Costell Math and Author of five books, to include: Building Capable and Confident Math Leaders.
Each keynote presentation will focus on how we can bring more meaning to mathematics daily and develop a love
of and deeper meaning for math with all students. Yes, these keynotes will help revitalize the notion that math still
matters – promoting reflection and engagement among students to make it a way of life that will offer them
infinite possibilities for their future, regardless of their career path.
As math educators and leaders, it is our charge and responsibility to inspire hope in our district, schools, and math
classrooms that all students can thrive and succeed in math.
On behalf of the SCCTM Executive Board, I welcome each of you to the 2025 Annual Conference and extend a
sincere thank you to each of our keynote speakers, session and workshop presenters, and exhibitors!
