Heroes and Villains!

Collabora�on is our Superpower

We are the Harbison West Heroes! In groups of 3, they were given a grade level

word problem to solve. One students is the "Hero" and solves the problem.
Another student is a friend and agrees with the Hero. The villain disagrees and
the Hero has to convince the others of their solu�on. In this session, you will be

Using Desmos Ac�vity Builder with Polypad

Ac�vi�es will be shared that integrate Polypad. Par�cipants will be able to try out

the ac�vi�es and hopefully even be able to construct their own ac�vi�es. Polypad
allows the use of several types of virtual manipula�ves and it can now be paired
with Desmos ac�vity builder tools, to create dynamic ac�vi�es for student Grades

6 - 12
