Part One Transforming Math Instruc�on: Using Evidence of
Learning Statements for Equitable Differen�a�on
This founda�onal workshop is designed to introduce and equip educators with the
skills necessary to cra� effec�ve evidence of learning statements in mathema�cs
educa�on. By focusing on the integra�on of these statements with unpacked
standards, par�cipants will learn to create precise, ac�onable, and impac�ul
learning objec�ves. This session serves as an essen�al precursor to the more
advanced applica�ons covered in the follow-up workshop. Grades PreK - 5

This session will give you the opportunity to empower your students by teaching
through frac�on coun�ng collec�ons. Take this opportunity to inves�gate building
a strong founda�on of frac�on sense and bring back ideas to use in your
classroom right away. Grades 3 - 5
