Area V 43rd Annual
                                 Leadership Conference

Greetings Top Teens, Top Ladies, Lords, and Honored Guests,
Welcome to Area V of Top Teens of America! I am pleased to introduce myself to you! I am
Teen Marcellus Metcalf, the Area V Top Teen President. As president, I want to encourage
you to continue to share information to others about our great organization.
Area V had a great area conference and of course, I want to thank everyone who helped to
make it a success. My chapter, the Detroit Chapter served as the host city and a great time was
had by all. The 313 will always hold a special place in my heart and it was wonderful to
welcome all of the chapters to my hometown. We went to the Charles H. Wright African
American Museum, the Underground Railroad, and the Motown Museum. We enjoyed great
workshops but most importantly, we packed 100 backpacks for Blessings in a Backpack. We
also had friendly competitions with our spelling bee, essay contests, and of course the
speaker’s tournament. We crowned Mr. & Miss Top Teens from the various chapters.
This year, we have accomplished much but there is still much to do. Let us continue to strive
to grow our organization by encouraging teens to join our wonderful organization. It’s all
about Top Teens!

                                                                           Sincerely,
