N.O.B.L.E. Workshop Engages Teens During Area VI Conference
As part of the Area VI Leadership Conference, Lieutenant Timothy Woods with the Phoenix Police Department
facilitated an engaging and riveting workshop with the Top Teens. The discussion focused on the importance of making
good choices in life and highlighted specific situations where good decision making is vital. Lt. Woods and the Teens
discussed the importance of proper conduct when they interact with law enforcement, knowing their rights and how to
use them properly — especially when in contact with law enforcement. Outside of law enforcement, the group discussed
how to have strong interpersonal relationships with their peers and adults. The Teens were really engrossed in the
discussion and didn’t want the workshop to end. Lt. Woods followed the workshop with a similar presentation to the
Lords.
Lt. Woods is a member of the Phoenix chapter of the National Organization of Black Law Executives. He is the hus3b4and
of Lady LaTricia Woods.
