  Breakthrough monitor is NeSSI ready
THE MODEL FS10A analyser from Fluid Com- ponents International (FCI) is a compact flow switch/monitor that can be easily incorporated into gas and liquid process analyser sampling systems with a convenient SP76 adapter that supports NeSSI standard compliant hardware.
FCI’s SP76 adapter for NeSSI modular mani- folds allows the FS10A to be installed into a standardised mechanical platform for analysers and sensors.
The NeSSI (New Sampling/Sensor Initiative) has been evolving for two decades-plus as an in- dustry-driven effort to define and promote ana- lyser and sensor standardization.
In NeSSI compliant devices, sample system components such as the FS10A can be mounted onto a standard fluidic interface for modular surface-mount components, which features
standard wiring and communications interfaces and a standard platform for micro analytics.
The FS10A conforms to NeSSI Generation I and is prepped for Generation II and III compliance. It requires only a single 1.5-x-1.5-inch SP76 base.
The FS10A is ideally suited for continuous monitoring of analyser sample flows to provide the highest integrity process analysis without in- terruption.
Featuring a precision flow sensor element with no moving parts to foul, clog or maintain, the FS10A ensures continuous reliability and re- quires virtually no maintenance.
The instrument’s wetted parts are corrosion- resistant 316L stainless steel with Hastelloy-C sensor tips.

sions sampling systems, including: gas chroma- tographs (GCs), mass spectrometers, optical spectrometers, photometers and others.
Operating over a wide flow range in multiple configurations, the FS10A features a flow range in air from 50 to 20,000 cc/min, and a flow range in water from 4 to 100 cc/min. It accommodates wide turndowns with a ratio up to 100:1.
A single model can be used for most gas and liquid applications with a simple in-field set up.

Large capacity split for open living
MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC AUSTRALIA has in- troduced a new nine-kilowatt wall mounted split system to its latest line-up.
Available now, the MSZ-AS90VGD-A1 is per- fect for year-round comfort in large open plan living areas and includes key features such as ad- vanced air filtration, Dual Barrier Coating and long airflow operation.
Its large capacity means that it suits big open plan spaces that can often be hard to tempera- ture control from a single unit.
The Mitsubishi Electric range of wall mounted split system reverse-cycle air conditioners are engineered for high performance in the tough Australian climate.
They come in a range of capacity sizes, from
two kilowatts now to nine kilowatts, to suit cool- ing and heating requirements in any home.
In addition to balanced airflow, the newest unit in the series also combats dirt and dust, two of the biggest enemies of air conditioners, as they slow down the machines and fail to cool the room.
This unit has an advanced Dual Barrier Coat- ing on its heat exchanger and facial surfaces that reduces dust and greasy dirt from adhering to it.
This Mitsubishi Electric designed technolo- gy not only helps the unit stay cleaner for long- er but also makes cleaning the unit easier, ac- cording to Atesh Mani, national product manager at Mitsubishi Electric Australia.
“Delivering clean, fresh and healthy air is a pri-
ority for us. The AS90 uses a built-in Anti-Allergy Enzyme Filter which works to trap allergens such as mould and bacteria by using enzymes to decompose them,” Mani said.
“This unit provides ultimate comfort with op- eration modes such as long and wide airflow, helping to provide a more even air-conditioned experience.”
Mani said the MSZ-AS90VGD-A1 unlocks the door to smarter heating and cooling via optional Wi-Fi Control and connects to a smartphone, ta- ble or online account.
