Using our research chops and world-class facilities, we’re going to help clients make the right decisions and ensure their customers are loyal and keep coming back for more.” – Becky Mead
The CLT facility consists of 30 testing booths, built around an in- ternal commercial kitchen, de- signed to prepare a range of samples from fragrances to classic foods and beverages, both hot and cold.
“Our 30-booth CLT has allowed us to reinvigorate sensory research in Australia by introducing a unique ‘Play-er’ to market,” says Mead.
The booths have been custom-de- signed with sensory hatches to re- move noise and odour pollution, and built with specialised lighting. They enable 30 participants to test the product in one sitting, allowing for fewer sessions, more insights, and greater efficiency.
According to PlayMR, the key benefits of CLT is that it provides
faster and more cost-effective re- sults for clients, enables quality testing with in-built control and rigour, and allows companies to work with a team of highly experi- enced sensory research experts.
All PlayMR researchers have ex- perience working with clients on concepts, branding, products and packaging for a minimum of five years, giving them the necessary skills to assist companies in devel- oping new and existing products.
The CLT allows brands to test their product, packaging, and claims in one location. The ease and thoroughness of this testing is why big-brand companies such as Google, Woolworths, Nestlé, and Unilever all choose to work with
PlayMR as their market research team. “Using our research chops and world-class facilities, we’re going to help clients make the right deci- sions and ensure their customers are loyal and keep coming back for
more,” Mead says.
The facility opened in April this
year and is located in Brookvale on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. ■
