BE A SAINT (+ SINNER)
Handcrafted and brewed in Australia, Saint + Sinner has launched an alcoholic kombucha. The development of a healthier alcoholic option by founder Linda Goldspink-Lord came after she had a major health crisis.
“I struggled to find alcoholic drinks which were low in sugar and having even a few glasses of a sugar-laden wine left me feeling rough the next day,” said Goldspink-Lord.
With her son Riley Lord, they created a hard kombucha for the Australian market as a better-for-you option.
“So many of the ready to drink options out there are full of sugar and preservatives – we were determined to create something which people could feel good about drinking.
MINGLE SEASONS HEALTHY SAUCES
Challenging the status quo is something Mingle Seasoning founder Jordyn Evans is familiar with. From hand delivering the seasoning range to 20 Woolworths stores in 2018, the newest range of sauces has just been launched with the supermarket giant nationwide.
The new range includes BBQ Sauce, Sweet Chilli Sauce and a low-sugar Tomato Sauce, which has up to 400 per cent less sugar than the most commonly consumed varieties. It has less than one gram of sugar per serve.
Evans said she is passionate about making health food products that still taste good.
“When people eat healthy food, they expect it to taste great, so we created a sauce that tasted like the big brands but had better

health credentials and especially less sugar,” said Evans.
“My mission for Mingle is for it to be the healthy flavour of choice
and to be an option for any meal occasion.”
The sauces are available at Woolworths nationwide for RRP $4.95.
“Not only does Saint + Sinner taste great, it’s also better for the planet. Our small batch fermentation process means every bottle is ethically and sustainably created, and our amber glass bottles help keep those good bacteria alive and well,” he said.
The kombucha is organic, vegan, gluten-free, low in sugar, and contains no preservatives. There are three flavours: Watermelon, Pine-Lime Coconut and Passionfruit.
