Fujifilm Revoria
PC1120
Fujifilm Business Innovation has launched its six-station Revoria PC1120 digital colour press as its flagship printer, which it says will open up new opportunities for print businesses, thanks to its gold, silver, white, pink and clear printing options.
It prints 120ppm in 2400x2400dpi, on a range of stocks from 52-400gsm that include synthetics and metallics, as well as coated and uncoated stocks, in sizes up to 1.2m long, with duplexing, and comes with a full suite of inline finishing options.
Speaking at the launch event Chris Lynch, general manager of Graphic Communications at Fujifilm, said print businesses would benefit from the multiple one-pass applications, the opportunity to add value to CMYK print with the extra stations, and the consistency of quality that the press delivers.
Switching between the extra
two colours, in stations 1 and 6, takes five minutes, with five screws to undo, and then another three minutes for the press to reboot. There is no waste or spillage, and following a changeover the first sheet is sellable.

Extensive inline finishing options include a five-crease creasing system, and the ability to produce stitched square back booklets in the booklet making system.

Ricoh Pro C5300s
Imaging giant Ricoh is launching the Pro C5300s, a new entry-level digital colour printer, which draws much of its technology from its well- established big brothers – the Pro C7200 and Pro C9200.
Ricoh is targeting commercial printers, copy shops, and franchises with its new Pro C5300s digital colour print system. The company is pitching it as an entry-level printer, but with the functionality of its high-end siblings.
Henryk Kraszewski, product marketing manager at Ricoh, said, “The new 5300 S will produce everything from regular brochures – saddle stitched and folded – to 1.26-metre banners, to envelopes and NCR sets. It is a real workhorse for any print business, but at an entry-level price.”
New to the format is the vacuum feed table found on the Pro C7200 and Pro C9200 models, which
come with mechanical registration beloved of printers everywhere. It will print on stock up to 360gsm, with no loss of rated speed for anything up to 250gsm. Stocks include synthetic and textile papers. It prints duplex at the same speed as single sided. 21
