STAND NUMBER 638
ZIEHL-ABEGG AUSTRALIA WILL exhibit new and exciting technology on Stand 638 at ARBS 2022 at the MCEC Melbourne. Come and have a look at our latest inspiration from nature, a newly launched axial fan that sets new standards in heat pump applications, and the new high efficiency HR module in the centrifugal range which sets new records with its spec- tacular air performance and low noise levels.
The FPowlet axial fan combines the bionically optimised blades from the range developed for refrigeration technology with a clear focus on acoustics for use in heat pumps. The blade, which has a serrated trailing edge and winglet modelled on the wing of an owl, also has a rippled lead- ing edge. By using the most efficient ECblue motors the required operating point can be set for optimum performance in premium heat pumps mak- ing them unbeatably quiet.
The highly efficient HR module with the ZAbluefin series in a biomi- metically optimised design with diffuser effect, sets new standards in sys-
Regulatory update on refrigerants
THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT will provide an update on the HFC phase down and regulations relating to refrigerants.
The director of the ozone and climate protection section in the Depart- ment of Agriculture, Water and the Environment, Patrick McInerney, will present the regulatory update on day two of the ARBS seminar program.
McInerney will outline possible future bans on HFC equipment and measures to encourage equipment owners to have their refrigerant and air conditioning equipment proper-
ly installed and regularly serviced.
McInerney is well known in the industry, he
has led Australia’s delegation to Montreal Pro- tocol meetings since 2003. He co-chaired nego- tiations for the HFC phase down which was in- troduced through the 2016 Kigali Amendment.
tem efficiency. The HR module is available in combination with impeller sizes 315 to 560 mm and the latest ECblue motor technology in IE5 Air flow rates of up to 19,000 m3/hr free-blowing or pressure increases of up to 2,200 Pa are possible. The HR modules come with a measuring device for measuring air flow, allowing for horizontal and vertical mounting, sur- face protection by powder coating for optimum hygienic conditions.
ZAflow helps to improve the flow into the impeller. Centrifugal fans re- act significantly more critically to faults in the incoming air on the suction side than to faults on the already turbulent pressure side. Using ZAflow also supports confined installation situations, with a reduction in noise levels and overall acoustic value, by 3 to 6 dB with ease. ZAflow is a simple and fast solution for optimising your system.
ZAbluegalaxy, in today’s I.O.T world, lets you manage productivity and control your devices through a clear user interface with all the relevant information you need. From anywhere in the world, you can gain access that includes current fan status (e.g. temperature, vibration, motor pa- rameters), predictive maintenance information, and the current and past performance of your products or those of your customers.
Active harmonic filters primarily reduce harmonics. Harmonics occur due to the characteristic energy consumption of non-linear consumers. In our everyday lives, products with power electronics are indispensable. These include LED light sources, frequency inverters, UPS’s, charging sta- tions and many more. Ziehl-Abegg has different active filter sizes availa- ble, 15A, 35A or 55A filter current, ensure a wide range of options depend- ing on the application.
