  Designed for comfort
LEFT: The new series has a long list of intuitive features.
There are a range of features available de- pending on the series.
For example the smart eco function which de- tects the human presence and absence and ad- justs the operation to decrease energy waste.
Another feature is SleepSense which detects when a person is sleeping and automatically ad- justs the temperature to prevent the room from getting too cold contributing to a better quality of sleep.
Customers can also rely on the airCloud Home smartphone app to set up location awareness and temperature profiles to de- tect when users are on their way home to au- tomatically adjust the temperature before their arrival.
airHome is equipped with up to four different air purification technologies against pollutants, viruses, allergens, bacteria, and odours depend- ing on the model.
Users can rely on airHome’s purification tech- nologies in its 99.9 per cent control of SARS- CoV-2, up to 99 per cent control of bacteria, up to 86 per cent control of odours, and up to 97.1 per cent control of allergens.
While switched off, airHome’s mould guard function automatically blows air through inter- nal components to prevent the build-up of odour-causing mould.
It also features a safeguard system to prevent against extreme weather conditions and an un- reliable power source, contributing to longer product life.
Installers will also benefit from the new airHome series’ improved features for installa- tion. All new service menus for each servicing are provided through the remote control.

and convenience
JOHNSON CONTROLS-HITACHI AIR CONDITIONING HAS LAUNCHED THE HITACHI SMART RESIDENTIAL AIR CONDITIONER
SIERIES NAMED AIRHOME.
T IS EQUIPPED with a variety of smart
and intuitive functions that will help us- ers maintain a comfortable indoor envi- ronment while improving indoor air qual- ity (IAQ) as well as saving energy.
airHome’s technology is designed to seam- lessly accommodate people and their life- styles, saving them the stress of finding the right system in an ever-growing market while sustaining performance year after year and proactively managing user’s indoor air quality.
airHome is equipped with the FrostWash function to keep the heat exchanger in a cleaner condition, providing a more comfortable indoor environment.
FrostWash is an automatic self-cleaning fea- ture that freezes the heat exchanger down to -15°C to trap pollutants and dust in ice, which then melts to f lush them away.
This leaves the unit cleaner and dramatically reduces the possibility of pollutants being spread from the AC unit across the room. Tests have shown that systems with FrostWash are three times better at maintaining airflow perfor- mance than those without this technology.
With this technology, users can enjoy the ben- efits of airHome with easy maintenance.
The airHome series is the air conditioner for people who do not want to think about air condi- tioners but just want to live in harmony with all possible features and advantages.
  Complete system for stringent monitoring
DWYER INSTRUMENTS HAS released the Se- ries RSME Room Status Monitor.
It is designed for low differential pressure ap- plications that require stringent pressure moni- toring and alarming.
It can be configured to monitor positive or negative pressure in clean rooms, hospital isola- tion rooms, laboratories, and vivariums.
The RSME is a complete system with a touch- screen graphical user interface which enables
access to pressure, humidity, temperature, air change, security, door status, calibration, and alarm setup.
The graphical display colour changes allow a clear determination of when the parameters are operating within the acceptable range (green), caution range (yellow), or have gone outside the acceptable operating range (red).
The RSME room status monitor comes stand- ard with BACnet MS/TP and Modbus RTU com- munications.
Each RSME includes factory calibration cer- tificates.
