Cascade refrigeration technology showcase
AUSTRALIA IS HOME to the latest in refrigera- tion technology.
The Generation-8 Cascade CO2 parallel com- pressor system is the latest CO2 cascade refrig- eration system being manufactured by BITZER right here in Australia.
The cascade system (pictured) has been de- signed and manufactured on Australian shores.
The Gen-8 is a cascade plant with BPHE con- densers that can be selected for various high- side configurations, including Glycol or DX Re- frigeration Systems including R134a, R513a or other refrigerants upon request.
BITZER includes the Buffalo Trident DeSuper- heater as standard for increased energy efficiency. The system has many standard options to
benefit the installer as well as the end user to en- able the system to operate and be maintained as efficiently as possible.
The cascade CO2 system is proven technology and has been applied extensively in supermar- ket, industrial and commercial applications across Australia and around the world.
CCN understands the Australian manufac- tured BITZER Rack will be installed by a major supermarket chain in Sydney.

Digital charging with valve in a kit
THE NEW TESTO 560i refrigerant scale with in- telligent valve and patented algorithm makes charging refrigeration systems and heat pumps easier and more precise than ever before.
Different target parameters can be specified such as superheating, subcooling or weight of the refrigerant.
Simply select the appropriate menu in the Tes- to manifold or testo Smart App, which is con- nected to the scale via Bluetooth, then enter the target value and the scale with valve will do the rest automatically.

The advantages include time saved to com- plete other tasks and error-free, precise charging of the system.
