   TRUFF DELIVERS A SPICY KICK
Hot sauce company Truff has developed two pasta sauces rich with tomatoes, herbs, black truffle and red chilli peppers; Pomodorro and Arrabiata.
Truff ANZ co-director Steve Pirone said the new range was an evolution of the company’s hot sauce portfolio.
“Pasta sauce might be new to Truff here in Australia, but we can assure you we’ve taken the same creative approach to fashioning a product we know our audience will love,” said Pirone.
Using truffle oil to create an earthy undertone, the Arrabiata sauce has been made with garden-fresh ingredients. For those who like a sweeter, less spicy sauce, the Pomodorro uses black winter truffle and has less of an immediate chilli kick.

of summer without the low of a hangover. Hilo comes in three varieties: Sav Blanc, Rosé, and Shiraz.
Hilo was born after cousins Mike Green and Maggie Ha spent an evening reminiscing about their nightly drinking habits. With small children and a global pandemic, they decided to create a product that allowed them to enjoy a social drink, minus the guilt and sore head.
“Our mission was to make mindful drinking more accessible. We were each seeking healthier choices and we knew we weren’t the only people in this position,” said Mike Green, Hilo co-founder/CEO.
Green said it suited the sober curious, those keen to avoid ‘hangxiety’, restless nights, and a pounding head.
“Hilo is focused on dialling down the alcohol, lower calories and an insanely delicious taste. It’s a refreshing spritzer that’s palatable and portable, and light enough to be enjoyed all afternoon,” Green said.
The low-calorie sparkling wine is perfect for guilt-free picnics, with just 36 calories in the Sav Blanc, 54 in the Shiraz and 68 in the Rosé and 2.5 per cent ABV.
Hilo is available through its website.
