Chapter 3
Harry found himself in the classroom at his school.
Professor Courage asked the class, “If every family usually
buys one loaf, hic-cup, each week, and there are ten
families in the village, how many loaves, hic-cup, would the
shopkeeper need to order each week?”
“Ten families x one loaf = ten loaves purchased,” growled
the grumpy dinosaur, slouching at the back of the class
room.
‘Well done!’ said Professor Courage, “If next week, five of
those families buy two loaves, hic-cup, one to eat now and
one to put in the freezer for later, what will happen then?”
