floor and first floor. It does not look like normal school where one would normally find the

reception area, offices and the staff room in the same building. Here they are scattered. This
thus makes it feel more like home than school considering that many learners feel like school

is a “prison”.

The school is also located next to the railway line, it does not affect teaching and learning
taking place during the day because classes are very far from it, it is close to the ground/

stadium of the school. However, the is a road that divides the school and railway, the school

is high up and the road is down low, so the robbers hide behind the railway and rob the kids

who come early to school.

Willowmoore is a very diverse school that accepts everyone from any race including white,

black, coloured but mostly Indians, because the school is an area that consists mostly of Indian

residences.
