Litigation Facts

A very crucial part of understanding the facts surrounding
this case involves knowing what was going on in the court
system. Litigation means: to institute or subject to legal pro-
ceedings.
After Mr. Rothman ceased being Dr. Chandler's attorney,
at least on the surface, he filed a lawsuit against Michael Jack-
son and Anthony Pellicano, claiming that he was forced to with-
draw from representing Dr. Chandler because of the
defendant's alleged conduct. Mr. Rothman further claimed that
defendant interfered with the contract between Dr. Chandler
and his son by publicly accusing them of extortion when Mr.
Rothman, was in good faith, protecting his clients. I take ex-
ception to Mr. Rothman's statement in his complaint based on
Dr. Chandler's stated reasons for hiring Mr. Rothman as being
the opposite of good faith. Dr. Chandler was crystal clear in
stating that he hired Mr. Rothman to, "destroy everybody in
sight in any devious, nasty, cruel way that he can do it..."
Mr. Rothman also accused defendants of filing a false po-
lice report with the LAPD for extortion, and that said false re-
porting forced Mr. Rothman from being able to represent his
clients because he could not continue under the cloud of such
false charges.
Mr. Rothman alleged and asserted that the defendants also
drove a wedge between him and the Chandler family. He fur-
ther contended that Dr. Chandler hired new legal counsel who
successfully concluded the claim that he had initiated. Of
