Not knowing what my first move should be, other than
writing the book, I decided I wanted to at least contact some-
one that could make Michael Jackson aware of my intentions,
because it would involve revisiting this incident, and I wanted
to at least be respectful of his feelings. I did not know how to
locate him, but remembered that his mother and father lived
on Havenhurst in Encino. I wrote a letter addressed to
Katherine & Joseph Jackson, advising them who I was and what
I was about to do and asked them, in the letter, to please call
me with their comments concerning the project.
I drove to Havenhurst looking for their residence so I could
put the letter in their mail box. Not knowing their exact ad-

make it possible for me to give this letter to the Jackson family
if it is your will." With the prayer said and done, I headed
towards home. I felt assured that if this was God's will he
would make a way known.
On my way home, within several minutes of praying that
prayer, while stopped at a light on Van Nuys Blvd. in Sherman
Oaks, I spotted a black Mercedes Benz stopped across the street,
getting ready to make a left-hand turn. The driver of the car
looked like Michael Jackson's mother, Katherine Jackson. I was
astonished! God answered that prayer instantly. I turned
around and pulled next to her car and my first words were,
