Improving data transparency
In May we launched our policy campaign to improve data transparency for all patients. Currently the NHS and independent sector providers like ourselves are measured in different ways, which can make it difficult for patients
to compare the care provided.
At HCA UK, we believe it’s in
the interest of all patients that independent healthcare is measured in the same way as the NHS. This is why we launched our campaign to improve
data transparency to achieve alignment with the NHS.
We believe this will help support patients across the healthcare eco-system, enhancing the practice of medicine and furthering the improvement
of human life.

We’ve been collaborating with government,
political and influencer stakeholders to realise this change, including with
the Department of Health and Social Care, the House of Commons Health and Social Care Committee, NHS Digital and the Royal College of Surgeons.
