Of all our issues each year, it seems inevitable that around
mid-April Carol will break the news to me that she can barely
fit my Publisher’s Note into May — let alone waste the space so
I can relate my latest escapade to Best Buy. So once again I have
been downsized (much like our shared closet!) And once again
I can “blame” all of the amazing nurses and Health Care Heroes
profiled in this special May issue.
Over the past several months, as we’ve boomeranged from
Hurricane Irma to the terrifying events in Parkland, it’s refresh-
ing to take a bit of time to read about and
honor the individuals and organizations
highlighted in the following pages.
