Puppies
Differences to expect in Coat and Colour
As Puppies , the overall colouring can be light. Each me
the puppy changes coats, the overall colouring will appear
darker than that of the previous coat. The coat can be
shorter and more fi&ed. Dogs should not be penalised for
carrying an overall darker or lighter coloura on.
A 6 month old dog
It is acceptable for the puppy coat to be a darker
cream in colour, as this will usually lighten with
the first adult coat. This is particularly noticeable
on the woolly hair right behind the ears and from
the forehead along the topline towards the tail.
Cream does not imply that the coat may be
Tawny in colour Tawny colour is incorrect.
