“Gaze Data in Product Design”
Andrea Piazza
Andrea Piazza is a graduate student pursuing his MS in mechanical
engineering from Florida Institute of Technology with a research focus on
computational support in manufacturing and automotive systems. He
completed his bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering. After
receiving his BS, he worked with TESI Group LLC on the design and
manufacturing of pipeline induction heating equipment. Born in Italy,
Piazza has been living in the United States for the past five years.
“Correlating Variations in Ligament Integrity with Knee Stability”
Matt Adams
Matt Adams received his bachelor’s degree in physics from the University
of Maryland, College Park. He earned his master’s in mechanical engi-
neering at the Colorado School of Mines in 2014. His previous research
aimed to improve multiscale modeling and simulation of in vivo knee
loads. Adams is a member of the Orthopedic Research Society and the
American Society of Mechanical Engineers. He is interested in relating
industry and clinically relevant analytics with outcomes associated with
joint arthroplasty.
“6-DOF Test Frame Experimentation of Additive Manufacturing
Materials Using High-Speed Inverse Characterization”
Sean Fry
Fry completed his undergraduate work at Clemson University from 2011 to
2015, and also received his BS in mechanical engineering. During his
undergraduate studies he worked four semesters under the Cooperative
Education Program. Two semesters were completed in the research and
development area of Bosch Rexroth. It was there that he developed
interests in design work as well as experimentation, which later developed
into interests in the proposed research.
