decorations include two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals and
various personal and unit awards. He is a native of Coon Rapids, MN.

Opposing Solo
Lt. Tickle joined the Blue Angels in September 2010 and served as the Narrator
and VIP pilot in 2011. He has accumulated more than 1,800 flight hours and
261 carrier arrested landings. His decorations include two Strike Flight Air
Medals, two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals, and various
personal and unit awards. He is a native of Birmingham, AL.

Captain Benjamin Blanton U.S. Marine Corps
C-130 Pilot (Flying Fat Albert)
Capt. Blanton joined the Blue Angels in September 2009. He has accumulated
more than 2,000 flight hours. His decorations include the Navy and Marine
Corps Achievement Medal, and various other personal and unit awards. He is
a native of Ventura, CA.
