Composting Food
Waste
By recycling our food waste through
composting, we can effectively turn an
environmental liability in the landfill into an
environmental asset for the earth.
Composting increases humus levels in soils
and increases the range of minerals and
micro-organisms in the garden. Composting
also increases carbon sequestration, which
helps absorb greenhouse gas emissions and
prevent further ozone layer depletion.
