The last square we explored was the Dattatreya Square which is dedicated to the god
Dattatreya. There is one very iconic monument there known as the Nyatapola
Temple. There are two elephants and two wrestlers who protect the temple and the
two wrestlers were known to be the strongest wrestlers of the place. The elephants
are known to be stronger than the wrestlers, that is why they stay on the top of the
wrestlers, but the lion is known to be the strongest that’s why it stays on the top
most row. The next place we explored was the Pottery square. There are many
skilled potters working in this area who are majorly Prajapatis and they use many
ovens that bake the clay to make the pottery. The pottery is made by spinning and
sculpting it as it spins. They make piggy banks, vases, decorative cups and other
beautiful and intricately designed things too.
