FEES
Registration Fee
A non-refundable registration fee is due upon enrollment and will reserve a place for the student. This fee is included in quoted tuition fee amounts.
Mandatory Travel
The Junior College has 4 mandatory school trips over the school year: September orientation trip in Switzerland, mid-November trip to Belgium and France for Remembrance Day, Spring Break curriculum or service-based trip, and late Spring Normandy trip. Only the September orientation trip is included in tuition fees. Trip destinations are subject to change.
Tax Deductibility
Neuchâtel Junior College is a Swiss non-profit foundation and an independent secondary school. It is neither recognized as a post-secondary nor a degree-granting institution by Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) for tax purposes. Therefore, CRA does not allow the deduction of tuition fees, or any part thereof, paid to Neuchâtel Junior College.
With thanks to the generosity of proud NJC alumni, their families, and supportive friends of the College, NJC is able to fund a number of generous awards. In recent years, awards have been granted to successful Canadian applicants in amounts ranging from $5,000 to $25,000 CAD. Families are eligible to apply for assistance whether they are applying for a single semester or a full year experience. These awards offset some of the costs of tuition, some travel, or both.
