important and sacred to us. To commemorate something through ritual is to convey its
import through special, ordered steps. To feel an emotional connection between oneself
and HKBH is to seal the bond between G-d and self.
The seder is the vehicle through which we transform our knowledge of past events into
an understanding of our unfailing, eternal and spiritual connection to HKBH. Every
seder may not be transformative. Nevertheless, the faithful performance of this mitzvah,
in every generation, le dor va dor, is so special, so crucial an element of our existence that
the seder can be a foundation upon which we build, nurture, and maintain our faith.
