Operation Car Wash:
16 new Cease and Desist Agreements
16 Cease and Desist Agreements (TCCs in its acronym in Portuguese) were
approved as part of six cartel investigations linked with Operation Car Wash.
The six investigations looked into cartels that rigged bids for (i) Petrobras
engineering services, (ii) construction of the Angra 3 Power Plant, (iii) railway works, (iv), 2014
World Cup stadiums construction, (v) urbanization of
slums, and (vi) Petrobras building works. THE SIX INVESTIGATIONS
The settlements sought BRL 897.9 LOOKED INTO CARTELS
