Titles
Capitalize titles of novels, short stories, poems, newspapers,
magazines, articles, works of art, television shows, movies, and songs
and other musical works. There are exceptions to many rules in
English, and this rule has more exceptions than most. Some
newspapers and journals capitalize only the first word in the title of an
article. Some writers, like e. e. cummings, do not follow the
conventional rules of capitalization. In general, when you write about
an article, a poem, or any other piece of writing, preserve the title as it
was published.
Otherwise, follow these rules: Capitalize the first word of a title. Do not
capitalize articles (a, an, the) or short prepositions (to, of, from, and
similar short prepositions) unless they are the first or last word in a
title. Capitalize all other words.
Examples of Capitalization of Titles

Past.”
