Abbreviations
Capitalize some common abbreviations. Abbreviations of
organizations, corporations, and professional designations are
capitalized. Some examples include NBC, AFL-CIO, FBI, NAACP,
CIA, UPS, C.P.A., M.D., Ph.D., D.D.S. The disease AIDS is always
written in all capitals.
