What is a Small Scrawl? A “scrawl” is something written quickly. For
the purposes of this assignment, it is a page or so of quick writing that
allows you to practice a particular method of development, in this
case, cause-effect. Have fun with it!

Small Scrawl 1: Effects
Look at the pictures below. Choose one picture and describe the
possible effects of the item or situation depicted. If you wish, be
imaginative and write it in story form, but be sure to show a clear
cause and effect.
