life. A decision to divorce, to have an abortion or to give up a child for
adoption, to break off a friendship, or to quit a job are some
possibilities.
Cause-Effect Essay 3: Healthful Effects
Write an essay describing the effects of exercise on a person’s health,
energy level, and self-esteem.
Essay-Based Topic: The Necessities of Life
Look at Liz Pulliam Weston’s essay on pages 205–208 of this chapter.
She identifies several items that at least some percentage of the
population identified as necessities. The list includes the following
items:
