he had bought just two weeks ago.

3. Since Maddie is cold-natured and her roommate is not. They

are always battling over the thermostat.

4. If Jeff did not set his clock fifteen minutes fast. He might never

be on time.

5. The suspect admitted that she had shot her husband. Because

the poison she was giving him had not worked quickly enough.
