               In each of the following sentences, one italicized item is not parallel.

               Cross out the nonparallel item and reword it to make it parallel with the

               other items. Then write the reworded version on the line provided.




                    1.  When it’s time to study, Carl always remembers that he has to
                        do his laundry, shop for groceries, or his car needs washing .



                    2.  Today the children want to go to the movies and visiting the

                        museum .


                    3.  Kevin’s project failed because he ran out of time, out of money,
