Principal means chief (principal reason) or a
person in charge of a school (principal of

Westmore High). A principle is a policy or a

                                 rule.

Christopher’s principal purpose in life is to make money, and he

does not mind sacrificing his principles to do it.

The school’s principal tries to set a good example for her

                    students.

                             quit, quite, quiet

To quit is to stop. Quite means very, and quiet

                                 means hushed.

“Please be quiet,” Cliff whispered to his son. “I will be quite

angry if you don’t quit making noise in church.”
