                                       Objective Writing Decimals or Fractions as Percents

                                       To write a decimal as a percent, we use the result of Example 7 or 12 in this section.
                                       In these examples, we found that 1 = 100%.
                                           Write 0.38 as a percent: 0.38=0.38(1)=0.38(100%)=38.%

                                           Write as a percent:   =    (1) =     100% =     % = 25%
                                                4            4     4      4            4
                                       First, let’s practice writing decimals as percents.

                                         Writing a Decimal as a Percent

                                         Multiply by 1 in the form of 100%.
                                             0.27=0.27(100%)=27.%
