SharePoint sends a team member an email whenever a task is created that is assigned to him
or her. We also have SharePoint send alerts to a task’s creator whenever at task is modified.
Figure 2-31 (on page 77) shows such an email.
SharePoint task lists provide features and functions that are far superior to the spreadsheet
shown in Figure 2-21. Again, if you can obtain access to SharePoint, you should strongly con-
sider using it, a possibility we address in the next question.
