they only showed me “precious” stones, papers, and fake apprecia-
tion.

Some of them even claimed that they‘ve been blessed by God Itself.
Wearing long festive robes and singing songs of worship in a high
tone, they led people towards blindly giving their faith and vote.

Yeah, sure, as if happiness, success and faith are things that someone
can own, and give to others in return for an admission fee, or a
“small contribution”.

If you ask me, it doesn’t matter if you call God Jehovah, Krishna,
Brahman or if you think that Christ or Mohammed were the only sons
of God. It doesn’t matter if you think Mary was still a virgin or not, or
if you believe Jesus brought ten people back to life, or only five.

If you ask me, as long as there is hatred in your heart and confusion
in your mind, there is no story or belief in this world that can cure
you. It simply doesn’t work like that.

Prayer is not a lottery ticket, and God is not a pair of socks that you
can put on when you’re cold, and take off when you feel nice and
warm.

What a mess. To me, none of it made sense, and it still doesn’t to
date.

It’s time to grow up and out of the ideas you have about the world
and yourself.
